Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect personal information.
Last updated: 25 October 2026
YOO Your Other Office Partners ("YOO", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services, how we use it and the choices you have. We are based in South Africa and process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), and other privacy laws that apply to the people we work with.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, business name and anything you include in an enquiry, price request or email.
- Client information: when you become a client, the business information and contact details needed to deliver, record and bill the work.
- Information in the course of our work: we may access inboxes, calendars, documents or systems you share with us. We use this only to perform the work you have asked for.
- Technical information: like any website, our pages and the providers that serve our fonts and images receive basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type.
How we use it
- To reply to enquiries and prepare quotes and proposals.
- To deliver, manage, record and invoice our services.
- To keep our records accurate and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To improve our services and this website.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the reason you gave it to us.
Confidentiality of client information
Information you share with us as a client is treated as confidential. Access is limited to the people working on your account, and we follow the security and confidentiality terms agreed in your engagement.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as email, file storage, project management and payment providers, and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
International transfers
We work with clients outside South Africa, and some of our service providers store data in other countries. Where information leaves the country it was collected in, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected to a standard comparable to POPIA.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires, and then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take protection seriously and review our practices regularly.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to its processing, or withdraw consent where we rely on it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, send us a message through our contact form and choose "Privacy or personal information request". If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa or the regulator in your country.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our pricing page can use your browser's built-in speech recognition if you choose voice input; that feature is provided by your browser and governed by its own privacy terms. If we introduce analytics or other cookies, we will update this notice first.
